Taped Artistry
Inspired by an Italian artist Cattelan who taped a banana to the wall and called it "The Comedian",and sold it around $US 6.2 million. These painting series take that idea further. With a zuchini, carrot, and chilli pepper all painted to look like they are taped to canvases, plays with everydayobjects and turns them into high art. Each piece invites viewers to ponder the value of art and the creativity of its market, all while enjoying a good laugh.
